The Aboriginal Business Industry Chamber of South Australia (ABICSA) is a new, independent, member-based organisation which aims to support Aboriginal-owned businesses to form industry partnerships, which will provide mutually beneficial commercial and employment opportunities, while contributing to South Australia’s economy and success.
As a not-for-profit organisation and the peak body representing Aboriginal businesses across the state, ABICSA is dedicated to bringing together businesses, government and industry, working together to drive joint sustainable growth and self-determination.
Through advocacy, capacity building and strategic collaboration, ABICSA’s support includes guidance for Aboriginal businesses and start-ups on accessing government grants and procurement, industry networks and business development programs.
Purpose
ABICSA’s mission is to support, promote, and create pathways for Aboriginal-owned businesses to lead in accessing commercial opportunities, achieving profitable and sustainable outcomes, and contributing to South Australia’s economy and partnerships.
We are proud to announce the identification of Strategic Objectives within each of our Priority Areas, designed to guide our organisation toward success and growth. These objectives have been thoughtfully crafted to align with our overarching mission and vision, ensuring that every action we take is both strategic and purposeful.

Full membership is open to Aboriginal business with has 51% or more of the share capital owned by Aboriginal people. We recognise legal framework demonstrating Aboriginal majority holder, share capital and constitutional decision-making.
Associate Membership is open to ordinary Australians, Australian Onwed Businesses and national/ state chambers and industry associatins who are interested in the development and progress of Aboriginal owned business and their inclusion and contribution into the Australian economy
Corporate partnerships make a direct and measurable impact to Aboriginal people.
The ABICSA proactively works toward creating strong partnerships that enhance its operations, and the services offered to its members.
